An Okegawa yokohagi dotosei gusoku

The thirty-eight-plate russet iron suji bachi kabuto signed on the outside at the back Bushu Edo Ni Oite Nagasone Okisato Kaigu Kore Wo Tsukuru (Nagasone Okisato made this suit of armour at Bushu in Edo). Fitted with a black lacquered itamono komanju jikoro, to the front a copper oni of a style favoured by the Nagasone. A good russet iron mask with pierced ears, and a three lame yodarekake hinged vertically.
The ni mai do in russet iron, the upper two plates of the muneita laced and the front engraved with a coiled water dragon. Kusazuri of black lacquered iron itamono. Russet iron mogami sode, shino gote, karuta gane haidate and shino suneate. Laced overall in dark blue with the mimi ito in pale blue. The Nagasone Okisato signature is found on the helmet, mask, sode and do, the do also has the signature of Myochin Munemasa. Armour box and stand.
