A shinto tanto
By Kanesada, probably early Edo Period
The blade of hira-zukuri form, wild gunome of nioi, indistinct hada, the ubu nakago with two mekugi-ana, signed Kanesada in shirasaya; koshirae: the partly ribbed saya and tsuka of polished same and black lacquer; silver kozuka with three kirimon in relief; gilt metal menuki of kirimon.
