A collection of mementos and souvenirs from H. D. Collings' travels and postings
Comprising; an Ashanti carved white wood bow seat stool, 56cm, a wooden cylinder vellum head drum, a leather water flask, two baskets, a beadwork mounted headdress labelled by Collings as 'Borneo - Iban?', six headbands labelled as 'Ketupong Koi', a woman's waist cloth labelled as 'Temer Group made from Inner bark of the Ipoh tree', a group of small bronzes, an embroidered jacket, a blowpipe dart quiver labelled by Collings 'Temer (Senoi) Ulu Kelantan', with various internal implements and accessories, with acquisition date 1948, 39cm, two pairs of fertility carvings, a carving of a 'Bush Ghost - Made By Tovia of Kong Tumu N.T., Gold Coast, 1956', 36cm high, four combs, an ivory bangle, another bangle, a Reindeer bone spoon, Fiji fish hooks, and a seal.
