Having conquered the world during the 1960s by producing millions of step-thru mopeds based on it original C100 Super Cub of 1958, Honda greatly expanded its range of this type of machine during the 1970s, offering a bewildering variety of models catering for every taste. Built initially with an overhead-camshaft engine but subsequently with an ohv type, the PC50 arrived in 1969. A simple to use, twist-n-go model with single gear and automatic clutch, the economical PC50 was soon almost as common a sight on UK streets as the ubiquitous C100. First registered in March 1969, this early PC50 has the OHC engine fitted and remains in original condition except for the front number-plate (long since discarded) and the brake levers, which have been changed from plastic to metal (the originals - one damaged - have been retained). WEA 31G is offered with a quantity of expired MoT certificates, Swansea V5 registration document, current road fund licence and fresh MoT. The vendor advises us that the machine has always been kept in use and that everything works. Weather permitting, it will have been ridden to the sale. Offered without reserve.
