A large and impressive mid 19th century double-dialled quarter-striking and musical ormolu-mounted ebonised bracket clock with full calendar

The case surmounted by five elaborate ormolu finials, central pagoda with silk-lined fretted gallery with ormolu mounts, the break-arched case with canted protruding ormolu mounted pilasters, silk-lined ormolu fretted side doors on a large base with fretted sound apertures, the two 12-inch silvered signed and numbered dials with Roman chapter ring and four subsidiaries to the arch for calendar and moonphase, the signed movement with finned baluster pillars with anchor escapement, rack-striking on a bell and quarter-chiming on a nest of twelve bells, the cylinder musical movement, housed in the base, with 65-toothed comb and six engraved bells with hammerheads in the shape of bees 1.35m (4ft5.5in) high.
