An early 19th century oval micro-mosaic brooch
Depicting a recumbent spaniel, within goldstone and red and white spotted border, mounted in lapis lazuli, the surround modelled as a gold coiled serpent with textured and cross hatched scales, its tail in its mouth, and with diamond eye, together with a turquoise, garnet and pearl set pendant, first brooch length 4cm, width 3.2cm.
