From the Havell edition of The Birds of America, handcolored engraving with aquatint and etching printed on J Whatman 1837 paper, with touches of gum Arabic, with wide margins, laid down, in good condition aside from margins folded under approx. 3-4in from platemark (mat burn at folds), in good condition aside from foxing, some areas of pale discoloration, not framed.
