  • Pierre Le Faguays was born in Nantes, France in 1892. As an art student he was a pupil of Vibert. Le Faguays attracted the attention of the public at his first exhibition due to the originality he gave his dancing subjects which were inspired from the statues of Tanagra. He was a member of the Salon and La Stele and Evolution groups. Awarded a 'Medal of honour' by the Paris Salon in 1927.
