Edo Period, 18th/19th Century
The first of mokko form, with sukashi and inlaid design of a wasp and crab amid leafy bamboo in gold and copper takazogan, unsigned; the second of oval form, cast with recessed fan-shaped landscape and figural reserves with gold and silver inlaid accents, rain-scratched gold plugs, inscribed Yamashiro-kuni Fushimi-ju Kanie; the third an oval plate carved with Tekkai sennin in a landscape with gold and silver inlay, signed Hamano Noriyuki; the fourth circular, inlaid with a court attendant with lantern walking past a Shinto gateway in gold, silver, shibuichi and shakudo, unsigned.
