Ivory Coast, the heavily encrusted male figure with a delicately carved face, and complex coif, seated in hieratic posture on a stool, itself upon an integral base. The musculature well delineated and scarification to the body. The figure wearing a loincloth. Heavy surface of brown ritual materials with remains of gold flakes about the forehead.
