A superb dance paddle, hoe
Austral Islands, of large proportions, the circular pommel with deep central hollow and carved with nine dancing figures tapering to a lip, the oval section shaft continuing to the broad leaf blade and forming a square ridge running down the back of the blade which has a thick square edge, carved all over with panels incorporating sun discs, wave patterns and diaper bands.
