Two jadeite vessels
The first a hu-form covered vase carved with a taotie mask band around the body, two loop handles supporting loose rings at the neck and a lion dog finial to the cover, the striated pale green matrix displaying patches of pale lavender; the second an archaistic libation cup, a bright green vein in the off-white matrix used to carve a dragon and waves on the outer wall while a russet patch forms the animal head plaque fronting the arched handle to one end.
