LINDBERGH, CHARLES A. 1902-1974.
Autograph Letter Signed (“Charles A. Lindbergh”), 1 p, 8vo (conjoining blank), Englewood, N.J., April 23, 1935, on personal stationery, to Harold Nicolson, concerning some errors Nicolson has made in describing Lindbergh’s trip to Mexico in The Spirit of St. Louis, matted and framed with portrait to 14 by 18 inches.

In full: “I hope you will excuse my taking the liberty of making a few notations in the pages of your book dealing with my flight to Mexico in the Spirit of St. Louis. They are in regard only to facts of which I have personal and definite knowledge.” Nicolson published a biography of Charles Lindbergh’s father-in-law Dwight Morrow in 1935.
