The floor of each shallow well painted in brilliantly hued enamels and gilt with a deer of immortality seated on a pedestal surrounded by a garden rock, lingzhi fungus, auspicious blossoms, bowl of fruit and ribbon-tied scrolls, the flat rim flange filled with floral cartouches alternating in grounds of pale green and vibrant rose and lingzhi sprigs drawn in iron-red outline on the outer walls (minor chips, one plate with hairline crack).
