- The 10-day Calibre 28-20/220 PS IRM movement was developed by Patek Philippe for its millennium edition. Ref.5100 is made of 175 parts and uses two barrels which create up to a kilogram of torque, more than three times a normal mainspring. To dissipate the increased force and prevent long-term wear, a specially constructed going-train with extra large pivots was designed for the movement.
Purchased new from Patek Philippe in Paris by the vendor and stored in a safe until offered for sale this watch is presented in unworn 'as new' condition with all of the original limited edition documents and packaging. Manufactured in a limited edition of only 300 examples lot 231 provides the selective collector an opportunity to purchase the perhaps the finest example of a Patek Philippe Ref.5100P available.
