Comprising five shita-e, (preliminary drawing), two sheets attributed to Kuniyoshi, one depicting a mother and child, the latter holding a net as he tries to catch a cicada, the other of a standing Kabuki actor; three sheets of studies of turtles from the Hokusai school, in ink on paper; another hand-coloured drawing of Fuefukidoji seated beside a recumbent ox, one Tosa school hand-coloured sheet of a seated Heian court lady, in ink and colour on paper; the last a print depicting a shishimai dancer, all unsigned. The largest 33cm x 24½cm (13in x 9 5/8in), the smallest 19cm x 22½cm (7½in x 8 7/8in), all mounted. (8).
