A George III mahogany Secretaire Bookcase
the upper part with a pierced swan neck pediment with carved paterae, centred by a parcel gilt flaming urn finial, above a drop pendant decorated cornice and a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the lower part with a secretaire drawer enclosing a fitted interior of seven pigeon holes and nine drawers and a later green leather tooled inset writing surface, above a pair of short drawers and two long drawers, on bracket feet, 131cm wide, 59cm deep, 256cm high (51.5" wide, 23" deep, 100.5" high).
