An early 19th century diamond cross pendant, circa 1820
The central Latin cross composed of cushion-shaped diamonds, each within an individual pinched collet mount, surrounded by a foliate-style border set with similarly cut stones, to a graduated old brilliant-cut diamond suspensory loop and fine cable-link chain, principal diamonds approximately 4.60 carats total, remaining stones approximately 1.85 carats total, length 5.8cm.
