Swiss, circa 1902,
No. 15500, with the six listed cylinders playing six airs each, including quadrilles, marches, operatic titles and God Save The Queen, single-spring motor, reeded bedplate and mandoline teeth in groups of up to five across 2/3rds of the single-section comb, in ebonised interior under glass dust lid with inlaid border, repeated to main lid interior, in figured burr-walnut veneered and kingwood crossbanded case with slight-domed lid, pegged on the matching stand with twin cylinder storage drawers and rounded corners, supported on hexagonal fluted and ebonised ring-turned legs with castors, further ebonised decoration to moulded edges, the whole finished with boxwood stringing, (one tooth replaced, two off half-way) - 35.1/2in. (90cm) wide, the cylinders 13.1/4in. (33.6cm), 38in. (96.5cm) high maximum
