with double-spring motor, HMV type 5A Soundbox, 12-inch turntable, the burnished arm and fittings with auto-start/stop forks, gilt transfer retailer's script James Smith & Son (Music Sellers) Ltd., 76/72 Lord St. Liverpool with royal warrant for the late Queen Victoria, usual full colour company transfer, in oak cabinet with plain veneered top and moulded acanthus leaf edge, twin panelled doors with blind pointed-arch fielding, repeating fret behind with original re-entrant horn cloth, on short cup-and-cover supports united by stretchers, circa 1929 - 49.1/2in. (125.7cm) high, 28.1/2in. (72.5cm) wide
