The naturalistic case formed of rushes with snails, shellfish and birds, the central porcelain panel decorated with a marshland scene with ducks, the similarly painted dial with Roman numerals and painted moon hands to the twin barrelled movement with anchor escapement, silk suspension, and external countwheel striking on a bell 47cm (18.5in) high.
