Footnotes

  • The Parker Pipe Company was constructed by Dunhill and used as a subsidiary brand. The Parker Beacon Company was established in 1928, as with this example the majority were produced under the 143752 Unique Patent, however, its products were never sold through the Duke Street shop, but promoted directly in Paris and America, being manufactured by 'La Nationale'. One of Dunhill's later and most successful lines the 'Rollalite' was in fact registered by the Parker Pipe Co. in 1938.
