Gibeon Meteorite Complete Specimen with Rich Patina

With a single hollow extending its length, this is a winsome specimen whose patina is mottled in hues of mango to chocolatethe result of its several thousand year residence in the Kalahari Desert. The upper right corner is flat, delimiting where the meteorite had fractured along a crystalline plane, its edges softened with time. The reverse is a sweeping hollow interrupted by a vertical ridge. This appealing Namibian meteorite can be positioned in a variety of orientations.
