Footnotes

  • During their history, Rolex have only manufactured two versions of wristwatches with moon phase calendar, the 6062 in a 34mm Oyster case with screw back, and the 8171 in a 38mm Precision case with snap-on back. The 6062 was produced in limited numbers from 1949 to 1953 and is today one of the most desirable Rolex wristwatches available.

Examples of the 6062 model with star-indexes are particularly rare.
