    Note:
    In 1964, Watson Powell, Jr. commissioned Warhol to make a portrait of his father, Watson Powell, Sr., to commemorate his 32 years as the president of the American Republic Insurance Company. In turn, Warhol reproduced the image 32 times to represent Powell's years of service. This portrait along with the self-portraits and portraits of Ethel Scull, Holly Solomon, and Sidney Janis are early examples of his serializations.
