    Note:
    This is a drawing of Marie Paule Pomaret, dealer and director of Galerie de la Renaissance where in 1931, Beckmann had his first Paris exhibition. It is a study for the now lost painting of Madame Pomaret, dated 1939 (Gopel 515).
