1972 Suzuki 125 Stinger,
1972 Suzuki 125cc T-125-11 Stinger

Registration no. OYB 24L
Engine no. T125 118287
Suzuki established the quality of their 125 range with the 118cc B 100P, universally known as the ‘Bloop’. The advent of a more sporty- looking development was welcomed and this took the form of the unusual ‘Stinger’ twin in 1970. This machine had what we might today call ‘fusion’ styling incorporating both a sports appearance with a tubular frame and off-road cues in the shape of the upswept twin exhaust with those distinctive ‘silencers’ on the ends. Today, as with most early Japanese twins, the ‘Stinger’ is a keenly collected machine. OYB 24L, in black and gold, is in very sound, complete and tolerably original condition with the hard-to-find exhausts in good shape and is ready to respond to a cosmetic re-finish. We are advised that there were no documents with the ‘Stinger’ when catalogued.
