A late 17th century Dutch silver beaker,
maker's mark a device(?) probably Nijmegen 1676-77,
tapering form with flared rim, the sides engraved with an upper band of geometric scrolls entwined with trailing foliage, the sides also engraved with birds perched on a branch, a bumblebee, a spiders web and a moth, later gilded interior and script initials, height 13.2cm, weight 5oz.
