A unique twin-axis tourbillon carriage clock

The case with ornate handle over the convex bevelled glass revealing the escapement, moulded cornice over canted sides with Greek key pattern to the sides, opening door with arched bevelled glass on a concave moulded base and chamfered feet, the signed silver dial with applied solid silver chapter ring annd subsidiary seconds dial to the arch, with blued-steel trefoil hands to the substantial single-barrel movement with shaped screwed pillars and secondary inner plate for the first pinion and wheel, the tourbillion constant-force lever escapement with freesprung over-coiled palladium spring mounted on a split arbor which is turned from the seconds wheel and drives the tourbillon on a fixed contrate wheel 23cm (9in) high.
