A cast bronze bamboo form tripod censer and stand
Guangxu Period, dated 1883
Of cylindrical form but molded with horizontal ribs imitating bamboo, leafy bamboo ranches forming the loop handles and loop legs that repeat on the matching low stand centered with a cash patterned opening, the side of the censer engraved with an inscription dated to Guangxu kuiyou [year, 1883] with a dedication to his father Zhang Shuji by his son Zhang Guisu and the maker's name Wancheng (wear to patina).
