Tucker, George. The Life of Thomas Jefferson. London: Charles Knight, 1837. 2 volumes. Frontispiece portrait of Jefferson. 8vo. Original blue-green blind-decorated cloth, spines lettered in gilt. Library stamps to both titles, some light spots, mainly to preliminary and final leaves, some penciled underlining, bookplates to front pastedowns, second volume with covers partially separated from text block, first volume with lower joint split and closed tear to spine, some stray marks and shelfwear, but generally an attractive set.

First British edition. Howes T-380.
