1982, Another Rainbow, this the very first Another Rainbow print, and it quickly sold out in the 1980's, at one point in time Another Rainbow would buy back this print in any numbered edition for $5,000, it is listed in Jerry Weist's second Comic Book and Comic Art Price Guide on page 187 as having a retail value of $10,000 (this guide was published in the summer of 2000); there was no Gold Plate edition to this print, or the second Another Rainbow print, this print noted in pencil A.P. 13/20 and signed by the artist on the lower right hand margin, the certificate of authenticity is attached to the backside of the frame in its original envelope, also attached with a sticker in Carl Barks own handwriting is a notation that reads Property of Heirs, image size is 20 x 16", condition is Excellent, double matted and framed. This is the rarest of all Barks prints, and it is the only artist proof ever offered for public sale by the estate, that should make it the most valuable of any of Carl Barks limited edition prints.
