A Brian Jones group of handwritten letters and a signed magazine, 1965, 1966
All sent to a young fan named Martha during the heady heyday of the Rolling Stones; the first letter is penned on a single sheet of white paper in blue ballpoint ink and reads in part "Yes, I remember meeting Terry, / and he did stay with me for a / while, but I don't know where / he is now. I think he went / back to America, I'm not sure;" included is its original transmittal envelope with a postmark of "London / 21 VII '65;" the second is almost identical to the first and reads in part "Thank you nuts for / your nice letter. (I don't mean you / are nuts, it's just an expression I use!;" included is its original transmittal envelope postmarked "London / 27 4 '66;" the third penned in blue ballpoint ink on lined notepaper and reads in part "Yes, the tour of America / was really a big success for us and / we are really grateful to everyone of you;" included is its original transmittal envelope with a postmark of "London / 24 11 '66." Accompanying the letters is a small fan magazine titled "The Rolling Stones Book" with a headshot of Brian Jones on page 19 that he signed in blue ballpoint ink "Love/Brian Jones."
