A signed edition of Walt Disney's 'The Nutcracker Suite',
published by Little, Brown & Company, Boston, 1940, signed on separate pages by Walt Disney (first-name signature only), Robert Cormack, Al Zinnen, Samuel Armstrong, Elmer Plummer, Arthur Byram, John Hench, Ethel Kulsar, Nino Carbe, Sylvia Moberly-Holland and Graham Heid, who all worked on Disney's 'Fantasia', with dustjacket


  • The signatures in the book reflect the range of people who worked on "Fantasia" (1940).
    Samuel Armstrong was a Director on the film and worked for Disney on several of his major films including "Dumbo" and "Bambi" (as a sequence Director).
    Sylvia Moberly-Holland and Graham Heid were both story development writers on the film, Elmer Plummer was both a story development writer and a character animator.
    Robert Cormack (who also worked on "Bambi") , Arthur Byram and Al Zinnen were all Art Directors on the film. Zinnen worked on over thirty Disney projects during his career, including "Lady & The Tramp", "Peter Pan" and "101 Dalmations" as a layout artists and "Bambi" and "Dumbo" as an Art Director.
    John Hench, Ethel Kulsar and Nino Carbe (who worked on over twenty Disney projects) all worked as animators. John Hench worked for The Walt Disney Company for over sixty five years, this being his first feature. He worked on an enormous variety of Disney animated features as well as having a detailed involvement in the creation of worldwide "Disneyland" theme park attractions. In 1990 he was awarded the "Disney Legends" award in recognition of his importance to the company.
