with going-barrel movement, the bird with red, yellow and iridescent green plumage, pierced gilt grille, in gilt metal case of sarcophagus form, the lid with a pastel painted scene of figures before a lake with a church and mountains beyond, tooled pattern gilt relief surrounding lid border, the top with floral wreathes on turquoise ground, further gilt decorated relief's on black ground, start/stop button centre-right, typical engraved front, back and sides, with key, in maker's travelling case 4.1/4in. (10.8cm) wide
