Culloch, 32 Lugate Streed [sic.], London , retailer's details, in rectangular rosewood case with applied brass corners and triple line inlay, the lid with central field of geometric concentric bands of red and green agate and lapis lazuli containing flutters of 'fool's gold', brass stars to centre, outer inlaid frame with further cross-agate, all with fine brass lining and engraved brass floral stylised finishes, the front inlaid with heads-and-tails brass C scrolls, red tortoiseshell, turquoise and mother-of-pearl 28.1/4in.
