(i) autograph letter signed ("William Morris"), to "My dear Rowley", telling him that he is "very sorry to hear of Browns bad affairs", with the promise of £50 at Christmas, and saying how glad he is that Rowley thinks "Ford's play will be a success" ("...I see by the papers that there was some opposition..."), finally apologising for his haste in writing and the inkblot "which I did not see at first", one page, 8vo, integral blank, paper watermarked '1890', light dust-staining, Kelmscott House, 5 November no year [1890-1892]
(ii) a run of printed Kelmscott prospectuses ('Books already printed', and 'Books in the Press/ Books in Preparation'), both for 27 May 1893, the latter with Morris's announcement of 14 November 1894 that the Kelmscott Chaucer is delayed by an increase in woodcuts; general catalogue 1 December 1894, marked up in red ink; general catalogue 26 November 1895, marked up in red ink; general catalogue 1 June 1896, marked up in red ink; general catalogue 28 July 1897, 2 copies, marked up in red ink and blue crayon; Guild of Handicraft prospectus, announcing the Kelmscott purchase; and a prospectus for the unveiling of the American memorial to Keats (quantity)
