Chapman, 2 parts in one vol., engraved architectural title by William Hole, portrait of Chapman on verso, engraved dedication to the memory of Prince Henry, etched title to the 'Odysses', first sub-title cancelled as usual, some light dampstaining at head towards end, one tear in margin and one paper flaw causing slight loss, ownership inscription dated 1635 inside upper cover, bookplate of Viscount Mersey of Bignor Park, contemporary calf, sides panelled in blind, stamped at centre with arms of James I (that on upper cover partially burnt through leather), green sprinkled edges, lacks ties, spine repaired, TALL, FRESH COPY [STC 13624; Pforzheimer 169, 170], folio (300 x 190mm.), [Richard Field and William Jaggard] for Nathaniell Butter, [1616?]
