Footnotes

  • The patented Gyromax balance differs from a conventional balance by placing the timing screws on top of the ring rather than to the sides, this enables the balance diameter to be larger and more streamlined in turn gaining amplitude; a larger balance produces more accurate timekeeping. The Gyromax was originally designed for use in rectangular movements where the balance diameter is often limited and became available for the first time installed in the calibre 9"-90
