In finely figured walnut with inlaid stringing and maker's plate : 'The London Stereoscopic Photographic Company 54 Cheapside & 110 Regent St. London, Adjusting Achromatic Revolving Stereoscope' with fifty internal wood frames for stereo views on a rotating belt turned by an external knob having eyepieces front and rear for two people with rack and pinion sliding box focusing, wooden eye shades and mirrors to the interior of the opening curved doors on the top. With thirty eight stereo card views mainly Italy, height 56cm (22 inch).
