A Staffordshire 'Small Sailor' Toby jug, circa 1820
Modelled seated on a chest inscribed 'DOLLARS' and holding a foaming jug inscribed 'SUCCESS TO OUR WOODEN WALLS', attired in a black hat, blue jacket and striped trousers, set on a domed 'grassy' base. 27cm (flaking and overpainting to jacket).
