The 13-inch square dial with silvered Roman chapter ring framing a matted centre with silvered subsidiary seconds dial between cast spandrels, over a calendar aperture amidst engraved scrollwork, the winding holes with leaf engraved surrounds, the outer spandrels centred by masks within scrollwork, the movement with anchor escapement, countwheel-striking on a bell, the hood with 'caddy' top on a square door with integral sunken columns, the sides glazed, the trunk having a plain door with moulded edge, on a plain base and later plinth 210cm high (sold with two weights and pendulum)
