Postal History Late Fee: 1869 January 19 wrapper from London to Paris franked with 1867-80 Wmk. Spray 1s. green, and alongside the rare red boxed "L4" late fee handstamp, partially overlain by a French double-ring c.d.s. Few covers are known.

1840-1970 A used collection in mixed condition in a stockbook inc. 1840 1d.(2), a range of 1841 1d. and 2d., later range of line engraved and surface printed issues, K.G.VI and Q.E.II commemoratives and definitives, etc. (2017)

Officials - Army Official: 1902-03 6d. with splayed "Y" variety mint, rather large hinge remainder otherwise fine. SG Spec. MO21h, £200.

1840 1d. Plate VI: IA, large even margins, fresh large part o.g. B.P.A. Certificate (1996).

1840 1d. Plate VI: SE with good to large even margins, red M.C.

1841 1d.: QL with sheet margin at right, fine used with "628" numeral.

1911-13 Somerset House: £1 deep green (S.G.320), fresh unmounted o.g.

1934 re-engraved: 2s.6d. to 10s. (S.G.450-452), a few gum bends, unmounted o.g.

1953 Coronation: sets (90) in unmounted mint multiples inc. cylinder blocks, a few wrinkles otherwise fine.

1929 P.U.C.: £1 black tied to small piece by violet cancels, top left corner fault.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories excluding Wine, Coins & Medals and Motor Cars and Motorcycles:
A successful bidder at this sale will be required to pay Bonhams 1793 Limited ("Bonhams") a premium calculated as follows:

25% on the first £50,000 of the Hammer Price
20% from £50,001 to £1,000,000 the Hammer Price
12% from £1,000,001 of the Hammer Price

VAT at 20% will be payable on the amount of the premium.

The premium is payable for the services to be provided by Bonhams in the Buyer's Agreement which is contained in the catalog for this Sale and for the opportunity to bid for the Lot at the Sale.

Payment Notices

Payment in advance: by cash, check with banker's card, credit card, bank draft or traveler's cheque.

Payment at collection: by credit or debit card.

Credit card charges: a surcharge of 2% is applicable when using Mastercard, Visa and overseas debit cards.
