The black lacquer shrine constructed with a pair of wide front doors opening to reveal a gilt interior containing an imposing figure of Zochoten standing holding a halberd, his elaborate armor highly decorated in polychrome pigments, and his head framed by a chakra form nimbus, the back of the shrine with a red lacquer inscription associating it with the Shinhojoji Hachimangu shrine (chips, repairs to shrine).
