A Haida argillite panel
The open work carving decorated with a spray of foliage surmounted by a dog or wolf, with incised curly fur detail, the animal's long tail grasped by a seated European figure leaning against a rectangular cabin with pierced lattice window, followed by an eagle holding a sprig of tobacco leaves and berries in it's claws, 31.5cm.
