Gilt brass full plate movement, later engraved and pierced cock, worm and wheel set-up regulator with blued steel scroll fixings, engraved pillars and potence, fusee with chain, verge escapement, three-arm balance with spring, gilt brass dial with engraved hand pointers with aperture on the left for the day of the week and signs of the day, the apertures on the right gives the age of the moon and the moon phase, the inner rings of the upper dial represents the approximate dates on which the various signs of the Zodiac commence according to the Old Style Calendar, the signs being shown on the next ring, then the month and outer fixed date ring, the later gold plated silver case with engine turned back and hallmarked for London 1819
