In two parts, the upper section wearing a belted chiton with finely rendered folds, the arms held forward, the hair dressed in a top knot, the lower section with long pleated folds of the chiton and two panels with crosses at the tips hanging down each side, the sandalled feet visible beneath, 7½in. (19cm.) high, mounted, repaired and restored, the eyes repainted
