• The late Geoff Willoughby was a motor racing enthusiast throughout his life, this interest developed into a passion for the Ferrari marque which in turn led to his founding in 1967 of the United Kingdom Ferrari Owners Club. Geoff and his wife June became joint members with the membership number one, this number still being held by June. Geoffs interest in club affairs would become all encompassing possessing a deep knowledge of the marque he was instrumental in developing the clubs first register of Ferraris in the country while at the same time holding the position of Financial director within the club for twenty one years until being elected vice president. In addition to his activities within the Ferrari Owners Club Geoff was also a published author on the marque and frequently carried out research for owners of important examples.
