Sold for £368 (US$ 626) inc. premium
Lot Details
1979 Honda CB125S
Registration no. NWX 382V
Frame no. 5002270
Engine no. 5002285
Honda’s first 125cc single – the CB125S – first appeared in 1970, and ever since then this type of machine has been a fixture of the Big H’s range, offering a combination of performance, agility, user friendliness and economy that has endeared it to successive generations of younger motorcyclists and commuters alike. So much so that, even today, Honda’s 125 regularly tops the motorcycle sales charts in the UK. This example was purchased in Canada in 1980 and brought to the UK in 1985, seeing very little use in this country following its arrival. The vendor advises us that the machine was last used circa 1995-96 and has been kept in garage storage since then. A new battery has been fitted and the lights are working, but it has not proved possible to start the machine, which has been standing for the past 10 years. Offered with sundry bills, old-style logbook and Swansea V5 registration document. No reserve.
