Kawasaki’s engineering expertise as aircraft and vehicle makers stood them in good stead when they entered the European motorcycle market in the early 1970’s with its tremendous ZI four-cylinder range. In 1982 came the fast powerful and very stylish GPZ 750, of which this is an example of the second series, with the improved handling given by the mono-shock rear frame. Like most Kawasakis, these need loving care rather than un-thinking use but are rewarding bikes to ride. Supplied with a V5.
